Meet Your Dental TeamJackie - AdministratorJackie has a B.A. in English Literature and has worked for Dr. Swanson's office for 8 years. She enjoys meeting patients, and helping them with appointments and insurance matters. Jackie's goal is to make sure that every patient feels welcome and is receiving the best care that the office is capable of providing. She spends her free time with her miniature Schnauzer, Manbok, a rescue dog with the sweetest disposition! Zoye - Dental HygienistZoye is a native of Seattle, and has been with Dr. Swanson since 2008. She graduated from the University of Washington Dental School, Department of Dental Hygiene. She has worked in many areas of dentistry, including pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and hospital dentistry at Harborview. Zoye is an urbanite who loves the city and short two-footed commutes. Teeth still fascinate and amaze her, but not as much as the people attached to them. She strongly believes in art, culture, and especially good food; and also believes that more accordions will bring world peace. Zoye does not do Facebook much as the verbal network of the Greek community, in which she grew up, is much faster, more effective, and often comes with a nice meal. Jan - Dental HygienistJan is a native Washingtonian, born and raised in Renton, Washington. She is the middle child with an older brother and a younger sister. She attended the first dental assisting school in Seattle in 1968. She went on to attend and graduate from Shoreline Community College, Dental Hygiene School in 1975. Jan has worked as a dental hygienist for 38 years, with the last 15 years in Dr. Swanson's office. Her goal as a hygienist is to educate and promote good oral health. Jan spends her spare time with her two cats, Chloey and Zoey. Her other hobbies are painting, bird watching, and watching movies.  Junior - Office DogJunior is our Pomeranian office dog. Born in Chehalis, Junior has lived with Dr. Swanson and his family for his entire life. At work, he spends his day sleeping under Jackie's desk in his doggy bed and greeting patients. Outside of work, he enjoys shopping for toys at pet stores, barking at squirrels and birds, and playing fetch. |
